Discord Login Problems: How to Fix It
Discord won't let you in — it says your email is invalid, already registered, or you can't remember which address you used.
Try these in order
- Try the password reset. On the login page enter the email you think you used and select "Forgot your Password" — if an account exists you'll get a reset email (Discord Support).
- Search all your inboxes. Check every email address you own for past messages from Discord to work out which one the account uses (Discord Support).
- Log in with your phone number. If a number is attached to the account, sign in that way, then look in User Settings > My Account to see the email address (Discord Support).
- Check another device you're already signed in on. Open User Settings > My Account there to read the email on the account (Discord Support).
- Wait 24 hours on "Invalid Email" or "Changing Email Too Fast" errors. Both are temporary limits — try the same address again the next day (Discord Support).
- Use a different address if yours is "already registered." That email is tied to another Discord account; try another one (Discord Support).
- Recover your email account first. If you've lost access to the inbox, contact your email provider before trying to change the address on Discord (Discord Support).
Still stuck? Contact Discord Support at dis.gd/contact — note they can't tell you which email is on an account, for security reasons (Discord Support).
